Up for your consideration is my Savoy drag car. Named the patriot. Some of you have seen it at cecil or atco drag strips. I am going to build a different car. This car is set up for nostalgia racing. Currently it has a 440 mega block stroked to 499 cid, dual carb, custom intake, Indy heads with a 727 pushbutton trans. and 9inch rear with 456 spool on a caltrac rear suspension, Last run resulted in a rod through the block. Cage was cert last year as were the belts. Trans has 48 runs on it since a freshening. tires are new as are the brakes. I have an extra 3rd member spool with 411 gears. Asking 9000.00 for the car and numerous extra parts. I can email pics as this site wont let me upload. car pic is in my sig.

To be clear, the current engine in the car is the one with the rod through the block or no?
Awesome car by the way. Good luck with the sale!

Ron, So sorry to see you're selling the "Patriot". I was at Cecil the day you threw the rod. Bummer for sure. Good luck with the sale. It shouldn't take long, and looks to be seriously under priced. This car is an east coast N/SS original from back in the day. Built by Bob Dyer.
