I need to get some bigger wheels because I have new Wilwood brakes with an Alterkation suspension that require at least 17 inch rims and preferably 18’s.

I found a good deal on some used 2019 Mustang Performance Wheels and tires that I am hoping will fit without rubbing.

does anyone know if this will work?

here are the sizes:

19x8.5" wheels & 255/40R19 tires (front),

19x10" wheels & 285/35R19 tires (rear)

I’d be worried about the offsets on those be careful! Be prepared to get your fillings checked regularly!

17-s are as big as i would go if it was my ride.
these cars need some actual rubber, not a baloney slice of tire.
and hes correct the offset on the wheels you show are way off.
they are offset to the outside, whereas you need inside.
i think normal backspacing was 4.5 inside but someone will know for sure.

I just put 18" wheels and tires on my 69 Coronet which I expect will be very similar to your Charger. I went with American Racing with Torq Thrust II one piece wheels (615) series. The front wheels are 19" x 9" with 0 offset (P/N VN6158965) and P245/40R18 tires. The inside rear of the tire is very close to the frame but I haven't noticed any rubbing while driving yet, and the interference would only be at full lock anyway. It's clearance is good elsewhere. On the rear, I have 18" x 10" with +6 mm offset (P/N VN6158165) and P285/35R18 tires. The closest point is the clip that holds the leaf spring together, at about 3/8" worst case. I don't expect any troubles on the rear. You will want to check the front clearance when you get the wheels and tires mounted. One question, what is the diameter of the hub hole in the new wheels? I have heard it mentioned that the hub centre on Ford wheels is smaller (70.5 mm) than on Moper wheels (71.5 mm). Be sure to check this.

I see the tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I have the Pilot Sport 4 S, which is very similar and am very happy with them. Good luck with your purchase. Cheers!

Just a quick addition to my previous post. As everyone else has warned, check the wheel offset (or backspacing). They may be very different than what you need for your car. Cheers!

I never thought about the center bore matching up.

I did not know if the 4.5 backspacing was a min. or a max.

I'll keep looking.

Thanks everyone.
