68 383HP spark plug wire positions

I've searched this forum and used Google as well, trying to determine the proper placement of the 2 'straight' boot plug wires that come with a replacement set of wires advertised as matching OEM. I'm further baffled by some of the distributor cap plugs have right angle boots while others have straight on boots.

This is the second set of replacement wires I've purchased. The first had similar components but I could not for the life of me get them sorted out in a way that made sense. I thought I was clear on the placement, but am no longer.

Photos I've found online appear to show all right angle boots.

Can anyone educate me on this please? Thanks in advance.
 
I use the 90's for 1-3-5 and a straight one for 7. The 2-4-6-8 wires are all straight.

My set came with all 90° plug boots.
 
From my infallible memory bank, all plug wires from dist cap were straight. At the plugs, straight at #7&8. All others were 90deg. I could be wrong, but! I am open to discussion, I think. (the best guy to answer isn't on here anymore, need to hook up with him again).

Sorry turbine, I don't remember any 90 boots on the cap. Too many brews(?),don't know.
 
I think 1, 2,4,6, and coil are straight. 8, 3, 5, 7 are 90’d on mine. 69.kinda hard to see here. Will get a better pic for you.

Note the placement of the factory Chrysler, date code correct, plugs wires on the distributor cap, of this incredible example of a Mopar muscle car.. These photos should be in a restoration reference book!

On distributor cap, four 90 degree boots and four straight boots. On spark plugs, all 90 degree orange boots. Even though included paperwork with these incredible wires stated #8 plug boot was 135 degrees or something like that..

You know Tim Wellborn would kill to have my Super Bee..

My epic Super Bee posts over this past spring and summer is what caused the Hagerty values to increase this month for all 1971 Charger Super Bee 383 Magnum cars, even yours! Values are now higher than they were a year ago, even after the drop in January. During my grueling power steering swap, they shot up $2500 to $5000! Everyone saw how much fun I was and am having with mine, so they started craving one of these cars too.

In contrast, no increase for Six Pack and Hemi models for 3 years or so. That is why Wellborn sold off several of his Hemis, they are just stagnating in comparison.
