Vacuum Damper Confusion

I'm working on my heat/AC System, and the FSM shows the vacuum line diagram for the actuators, but calls out vacuum source. It doesn't show where that line is suppose to run to. Does it run out the firewall to the carb? Can anyone help me with figuring out where the heck is goes or comes from.

it most likely will go to a vacuum reservoir then to manifold vacuum source

There should be a grommet in the firewall for the vacuum hose.

And a fitting in the intake manifold with a small nipple for the supply.

Not sure what you are working on but on my 66 Charger the grommet is right below the voltage regulator, and the line picks up vacuum from the power brake port in the intake manifold.
