Hey fellas, I am build a 64 fury and purchased the uscartool mini tub and spring relocation kit.. what size if tires are you squeezing under them and what nack spacing are you running.. stock width rear end or narrowed ? Trying to get an idea of what to start hunting for

Probably really wide (like 15x15 wheels)
I was able to fit 15x12 wheels and 295/50/r15 tires on my charger with stock tubs and no spring relocation kit

Here’s some shots of my ‘65 Coronet wagon. You can decide for yourself, and the wagon may have a different inner wheelhouse size, but here is how it lines up on the spring...wheel is 15x8.5” wide, 5.25” backspacing, tire is 285/60/15. It was a custom torq thrust wheel from my buddies super stock spring car, so he doesn’t have the same interference problem. I hit the front spring clamp, but the tire clears the spring itself by 1/4”:

Chad, my 65 is mini tubbed and springs moved in. 315/60-15 on 10" wheels. Don't recall backspace; maybe 4.5". Custom narrowed width dana. 3" exhaust.

Mini tubbed to frame, springs moved in 3", Narrowed Moser fabbed 8.75" (48" flange to flange), 15"X12" Billet Specialties wheels with 5.5" back spacing. Mickey Thompson 29"X15.0R15LT Sportsman S/R Radial tires.

64' Polara ,us car tool mini tub and springs moved. 14.3" section width 29.5" M&H cheater slick on narrowed dana 60 with 15x10 Tork-thrust with 3 3/4" back space. The 14.3 section width left me with 5/8" between tire and side of frame/ wheel tub and 1/2" tire to outer wheel house/ quarter panel, car does sit up some in the back with s.s. springs. Sorry ,no pics right now, car is apart.

I mini-tubbed my '65 Coronet about 30 years ago and have run 325 or 315 tires every since. Plenty of room under there once you move the springs under the frame.

Here is a video of the rear tires working on the dyno. The extra shift is because it has a 5 speed Doug Nash transmission.

Are those 15 inch wheels? and what width?.. stock rear end width?

No, they are 17 inch wheels. I think they are 10 inches wide but I really don't remember. I bought them about 25 years ago. I was using a stock width Dana 60 from a '68 B body so the wheels had a fair amount of backspace in order to tuck the tires in. The wheels were custom made to provide the correct backspace.

I have 325-50s under mine. Springs were moved to frame rails and inner fenders massaged with a LFH. axle housing is from a 70s b-body. 11 inch cop wheels.

I forgot to add that this is with factory wheel housings..not mini tubbed
