I'm helping my father list his 1970 Olds 442 Clone car. Vehicle is located in Gainesville, Florida. He has a Facebook Marketplace ad that you are more than welcome to reply directly to or, I'll be on the look out for PM's etc through here and FABO.

Price is $30,000.

Thanks for looking!

Hey Ironbuilt,

Yes, that is the correct starting asking price. We’ve had a few potential buyers offer close to this amount.

I personally haven’t heard this car run
but, it’s my understanding that the engine will need a tear down to figure out why there’s moisture/steam coming from the block - through the exhaust. My father had the heads redone (in the hopes that would fix it) but, the problem is not in the machined heads. I wish I could give you more specifics.

My father has an amazing collection of 40+ 1967-1970 B bodies and, we’ve been gradually selling his Chargers, Plymouth Road Runners, Belvedere’s, GTX’s, Satellites, Coronet’s and more.

We’re trying to be as transparent as possible with any potential buyers of this Olds 442, so that they don’t buy what they think is a cruise-ready car. Some level of engine work will be involved with this particular vehicle.

Thank you for your response and your honesty. The Olds 442 is my favorite non-Mopar as my grandfather had a 1970 when I was a youngster. Good luck to you and you father.

Does he have a '68 Charger to sell?
