CRUISIN' THE COAST 2020 Mississippi Gulf Coast..Hurricane DELTA gone, IT'S ON! Saturday 10/10!

Every year, since a departed friend of ours was in a picture at Cruisin the Coast with me, my best friend, and a friend of ours who has a beautiful stroker Lemon Twist 70 Cuda, we have made a point to get a group pic with at least the 3 of us remaining in it. This year, a long time friend of me and my best buddy is here, a car guy, the 9.6 sec yellow Corvette I have posted some videos of in the racers' forum, and the 3 of us...

Love your dash ,this is the shroud I bought for my ColdCase radiator and Im using a 18 flex fan. I hope this info might help. Have fun and watch the weather.

You sad- Oh, it's going TODAY, Thursday! Unfortunately I was late and caught the end of the MOPARs In Da Bay show, but I got to see a number of people in my MOPAR family, and they were encouraging re the upgrades etc I did.
My mechanic said my factory shroud may work with the flex fan I have, to which I replied "the shroud I sold?!":BangHead:
I already PM the forum member who bought it, but I need dimensions to see if it will work. I really want the 18" diameter version of this fan anyway, and I know there are lots of relatively "cheap" custom shrouds that can be made.
It's been fine today temperature wise, timing lights so I don't get stuck sitting still too long, but at 40+ MPH it's GREAT, 185-190 max.

@davek
I'm sorry, but I still don't understand....

sounds to me like you were going to show: a picture of, link to, dimensions of, etc the shroud you bought for your Cold Case radiator.
It may well help me, since I have a Cold Case radiator too (it's GREAT) but I don't see any of that "helpful information" or somehow I'm totally mistaken about the intent of your post.
What shroud is the "this" in your statement about the shroud you bought?
Please help me understand exactly what you are trying to convey. Thanks

I hope you don't mind me adding to your thread neighbor.
Of course I don't mind. I welcome multiple people posting. I got wrapped up in my dilemma so my pic posting has been sub par.
Anyway, I see you made it to the "Mopars In Da Bay" event. Please introduce yourself if we are at the same event.
The Sublime 69 Roadrunner with the 6bbl lift off hood belongs to my friend Dave. It's not an A12 and it doesn't have a 6bbl but it's a nice car.
The Plum Crazy 71 Charger R/T "pro street" car...oh MAN that is a MONSTER. Last year was the first time I saw it, and it is like a race car that is on the street.I have yet to hear it run. The trunk deck is clever:

The yellow supercharged 69 Roadrunner is from St. Bernard and has one of THE most polished mirror finished paint jobs I've ever seen, and I'd love to get a repaint (after body work and prep of course) on my Roadrunner to look like that one day.

biomedtechguy,

did we get a pic of your hair style this time around? green, blue, yellow?

It's always supposed to be like a "royal purple"...I am trying to emulate the Roadrunner's head feathers...My regular hair cutter, who I have been going to since 2012, was working at a salon that closed, and I lost her personal phone number. I went to someone new, I sent her 2 pictures from CtC 2019, to get the cut and color, and like everything else revolving around CtC 2020, it seems like half-assed is the new measure of quality...I even told her after the first couple of dabs of the dye that it looked too red, but "she assured me" it was going to be fine.
It isn't, but I had bigger problems to resolve.

I even bought a tube of "violet" the day after she put "plum" in my hair, but I just decided to go with it and have fun.

Questions & Answers Ask a Product Question
Q:
this says for 70-73 B and E bodies with 26" radiator. I have a 74 Challenger with aftermarket Champion 26" radiator. Will it fit ?
Asked by CYNDI on June 24, 2020

A:
Shroud and radiator may need some tap and die holes made if mount holes don’t line up.

Mopar Performance Fan Shrouds P2998326
Lol!!
Thank you!
That is what I've been asking about since you first posted about "the shroud that fit your Cold Case radiator and flex fan"...
I have a lead on a factory shroud. It needs some repair, but it may do the trick.
The funny (in a bad way) thing is I sold my radiator and fan shroud pretty cheap.
The radiator doesn't matter, as it was a 68 date code, and the Cold Case radiator I have is GREAT. I honestly didn't think I'd need the shroud.
Since trust in electric fans and I have gone separate ways, and the 17" low profile flex fan is partially effective, here's my plan:
*Get the 18" version of the flex fan I have now. 1" diameter extra x 6 blades, plus 1/8" deeper blade x 6 blades.
*Get or make a shroud that fits, and the fan sits in about half way.
*Get 2x 10" or 12" (whatever is the largest that fits) pusher fans and put them on the front of the AC condenser.
THAT should handle ANYTHING, including my 541 stroker and the Air Conditioning in heavy traffic or sitting still in South Louisiana and Mississippi, or anywhere else!

Bio did the storm hit yet,was it a ghost town today at CC? Be safe and I hope all gos well with you and your family.
