What’s a phrase that your parents used years ago

I'd be your daddy if that dog hadn't beat me over the back fence.

A couple from my Dad:

Starting when I was a teenager, when I'd do something stupid, he'd look at me and shake his head and say "What the hell is wrong with you".

When I wouldn't try fix something before just going and buying a replacement part- "Are you a mechanic or just a parts changer?" Then he would show me how to fix it.

Damn I miss him!

"Watch your driving" everytime I left... I continue saying that today when my wife goes somewhere with-out me...

Once my kids were old enough to go out on their own with friends I will always say as they are leaving..."Make good choices!"

When me and my two older brothers would be wrestling in the house my dad would say "If you got so much damn energy go outside and pitch horse ****"
We had 65 horses...

Evidently if I had a brain I'd be dangerous...

You'll be late to your own funeral.

Slicker than don't on a glass door knob.

So buck-toothed she could eat corn on the cobb through a picket fence.

Bless her heart.

Boy you're slower than smoke off of sh&! on a winter's morning.
