I'm going to have to bite the bullet. and buy some new tail lights for my Charger. My question is, how many company's are making these lights? I found some at Classic Industries for $1400 and some at PG Classics for $1200. Want good quality parts that fit well. If you have bought new lights I would like your input. Thanks

Several years ago, I rechromed my housings and bought repro chrome round lens housings. While they look very nice, when you hold them up to originals, you can see the difference, however, they are good enough to be used on anything but a 100 point concourse car. I can't imagine that there are multiple companies repro-ing them, so if I were you, I'd go with the less expensive ones.

I agree many times I see various vendors selling repop parts and they are the same , sometimes there maybe a different box it may have a sticker over somebody else’s sticker kinda thing... I advoid repop when ever possible and would prefer to restore my oem parts as when I’ve bought repops I’ve gotten them home only to be unhappy with them.. taillights are in everyone’s face at every stop light ... be patient and get lucky? Yes, I do realize sometimes we have to cave in but if needed by USA made ones if you can find them. Best of luck it’s a tough choice and I’m my own worst enemy as I’m severe OCD when it comes to my stuff.

I almost **** when I saw the price of the 68 Charger tail lights! They are up there cost wise as far as repop tail lights which I get because they are complex. Crazy though the cost of some of this ****! I am glad my Runner has all the trim pretty mint as it'll save me thousands when its time to bolt it all back on. And that's a poor mans Plymouth. I can't imagine a 68 Charger and having to buy all the trim new!

Had the main housing re-chromed and purchased the bezels/lenses. Everything fit well- no problems.

Thanks for the replies. I have thought about doing the rechrome on housings and new bezels. I think I will look further into that route. I have good lenses.
