Lol, I still read a paper newspaper. It doesn't fold as easy as it used to. Me(?) or the paper, I don't know! Great question tho.

When cars were NICE, stuff was made in America and made to last! When gas was cheap. I was not even thought of yet but I wish I was born then, I'll take the Charger please. This looks like a T shirt, I seen one before and really want one. Hmmmm.... :):usflag::lowdown::thumbsup:
 
How about the classified ads 10 years later when they were selling for just hundreds of dollars!

I picked up several in those years, but what if I had a couple of acres and more than gas and rent money then?
 
always looked forward to the new "Tradin' Times".......not sure if it was a national thing
 
WELL , here away from "the coasts" it was Midwest Specialties and soon followed by the 'Summit'. Machine shops all over that were very good, ( Otie's Automotive, Arfons, and of course Arlen Vanke)! Was truly a wonderful time all over the country!

Cherish your youth and learn all you can. Be glad that there are still some of us around to guide you down the Mopar road. When these cars were new I was bringing home about 58 - 60 dollars a week and cars were just about as hard to come by as today.

Young guys might not believe this. But in 1982 when I was shopping for my Charger, you looked in the newspaper and found good drivers for less then a grand.
