I am a new member from upstate NY. I am currently helping a friend with a 496 pro street 69 roadrunner.
Well, if you can stand MW, then you're a better person than I am lol. I like some of his shows though....and welcome to the site from the great country of Texas!!I have been a Chevy guy for years, but have come to really like Mopars thanks to Mark Worman. I really enjoy watching the restorations.
He is a character, but really gives alot of interesting info. Chrysler (Direct Connection) also put forth a great program to support drag racing. Where I am working on my friends Roadrunner, There is an original hemi Dart with the window sticker still on the pass door glass. We know the owner who's son now races in NHRA and bought it in Rochester, NY. It states "Not intended for highway use" on it and was $5400 in 1968.Well, if you can stand MW, then you're a better person than I am lol. Working on this again doing some minor stuff after doing some major stuff to it last year. It's mostly original except for the engine and paint but he has the original engine.....yeah, it's on the back carport behind my shop.He is a character, but really gives alot of interesting info.
