Kinda long but worth the watch. Lots of good stuff. 18-splines, Danas, etc...Not sure what his prices look like. Im too broke to call and tempt myself right now.

My friend sent him money for a Coronet hood. He was told they would require additional $$ for shipping after the hood was boxed and weighed. He hasn't heard anything back after 3 weeks. Not sure what to think at this stage!!

I have been to this guys house.. He's legit however hard to deal with. His **** is the best and yours is tainted and barely worth him buying... Ya know that kinda guy.

From the video he has some great things, and things to use your term tainted and barely worth buying. You buy from those people by bundling several of the lesser items with what you really want. That way he is trying to figure if he is getting what he wants for the good piece and you have other items to lower the cost of what you want.

What I mean by that is I had a nice set of original 69 HP exhaust manifolds He tried to tell me they aren't worth 350 dollars.. He has a pile of them and I'm sure he can pick them up for 200.00 but mine were really nice and in perfect shape. Anyhow I forget what all I sold to him but I ended up getting really close to my price. This is the guy I drove up to look at that 67 Belvedere.. With steel wheels and dog dish caps.. Well in the picture he sent yup they were on it on one side. The floor pan was completely gone. I made hi an offer on the car... He pondered on it for a few then went over and started taking the clutch peddle assembly out.. I'm like what's up with that? He says for your price I'll keep these. I was like naa don't waste your time. I'm not buying it. Here are some of the items I brought.. HP manifolds,TTI 1 7/8 Headers amd a really nice clean set of Mopar BB valve covers. There were a few items more but I can't recall now what the other things were.
Jerry this was the car I went to look at before I bought yours for less than he wanted for the car with no floors... Just saying.

Been there done that. A number of years ago I drove to south Georgia in the middle of nowhere to pick up what looked like (in the pictures) a great 71 RR body. I pulled up trailer and all and talked with him for a few minutes. He pointed the car out below the hill. I'm walking down the hill looking and thinking this is a great find. I get to it and it is looking great until I go around to the other side. It was completely wiped out down the driver's side. This guy never indicated damage in the pictures or in talking to him. I have driven over 400 miles with a trailer, so I go up the hill to my truck, get in and leave with him standing there. I didn't say anything to him at all. I don't know what he was thinking and really don't care. At the point of seeing the car all around there was no need for further conversation as we were way to far apart on value.

There's a reason guys have hoards of parts ... 'cause they usually want too much for them.

I told him 350 for the HP manifolds.. He was like "thats retail", Im like no retail on Year one repops is more like 600.00 for a set of exhaust manifolds that have Y1 cast into them. Mine had were original and had a good functioning heat riser, The TTI Headers probably needed to be ceramic coated but they were not all beat up and looked fairly good. We all know those are around 900 new.. So I was asking 300.00 for those as well. But yea he has a ton of stuff and I would love for someone to contact him about a set of HP exhaust manifolds just to see what he gets for a set. lol
