Hi, I'm building a street/strip 440 and need a bit of help on electric water pumps. I am turning it into a 511ci stroker motor and bought a top end kit that is capable of 620hp. I was looking at a Meziere 300 series electric water pump but am not sure if it's going to be the right fit for my car.

Welcome!
I agree with Ironbuilt put posts in one of those areas.
In my opinion you sure are likely to get as good results from a less expensive water pump setup.

welcome to FBBO from the Sierras, Sonora southeast of you

I run a proform 35-40gpm have no issues of overheating,
bigger tube/thicker MRE alum 22" rad
been on there since 2007, 100* + days etc., 180*-190* all day long
with electric fans too 16" 3000+cfm puller in a custom shroud
& a 13" 2900+cfm pusher, out front just in case,
everything ran thru Painless manual arming switches panel inside
& Boshe Relays, with a separate fuse panel for all engine/acc. electronics

you can see it all in different forums
the Resto-Mod & Pro-touring, Racers Hangout forums
& my garage too, among other threads about the very subject

good luck

Hey budnicks I am curious about your hose set up and what you are using to stop the pressure from blowing your hoses off of the inlets on the block?

Welcome from Missouri!!

Hey budnicks I am curious about your hose set up and what you are using to stop the pressure from blowing your hoses off of the inlets on the block?
stainless T band style clamps,
I have no or little if any, to no pressure issues ever
the hoses are A/N rubber with braided stainless steel outers
with an inner S/S coil to keep the shape
(my old engine when it got hot & cooled off
the lower hose would 'sort of collapse',
it was rare even, but I didn't want that issue
)
even with the 19psi cap very rare even gets over 180-190*
even after hard beat runs, stable temps, very little pressure
in the cooling system
