Guys, been in the b-body game a long time but been inactive for several years. Recently found a 63 440 wagon (318, no options), complete, floors gone. When I was active 10+ years ago, these were fairly sought after, but I don't know now. Looks like they rarely show up for sale. Guy is asking $1,400. Thoughts.

:xscuseless:

I know where this one is and it can be had for $2500.00 Complete, with minimal rust. Needs full resto.

I think this Arizona wagon could be picked up for around $3000 (if I remember what the guy said) It's pretty solid.

Wow...so not super rare or anything, $1,400 is pretty close to market if you consider transportation and repairs. I didn't realize you could post wants and get a response this fast. Thanks guys

Welcome to FBBO from North Carolina.

Welcome from Indiana. I’m thinking if this car has all the trim, a working solid tailgate, good fenders, grille, etc., it would easily be worth $1400 as a parts car. Not saying that it couldn’t be saved. Good luck.

Early B-body wagons are really cool rides as they draw lots of attention whenever they are out in the wild.
I know, as I have owned mine now for 22 years.
Restoring them to factory correct can be a real challenge, as the wagon only parts are usually very hard to find.

Welcome from Florida and good luck! Let us know if you decide to get it! Mine is still a work in progress.
