When I was at the Carlisle Chrysler National's this year, Cliff Gromer of Mopar Action took an interest in my car, I think primarily because I had a book and other things that documented my trip across country. He did a quick interview with me and I spoke about how FBBO had done so much both to help build the car as well as be my virtual "co-pilot" when I did the trip. He did a quickie writeup and one page feature in Mopar Action.

That's really exciting.

NICE!!! my 15 minutes of fame was being interviewed on Motoring '90 magazine with the Bird in May of 1990 in Orillia, Ontario. Got it on VHS... doesn't post well here ! LMAO !

Kudos to you Hawk, now we just have to figure out how to get you off your ceiling!

Wow. You are younger than I thought. I expected you to be in your 50s with how well you conduct yourself.
Congratulations!

Read that the other day, congrats. People driving these old cars around is what this hobby is all about to me. Just wish I had the courage and time to do it the way you did, lol.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, but the congrats also goes to all of FBBO that helped make it happen!

Haha. Yes, but you should convert it anyway so the tapes do not degrade - I'd love to see it!

I thought someone was playing a prank with me when they said Cliff Gromer wanted to talk with me!

Just do it! All of FBBO will be there to help if something happens!

Road trips with our old cars are the best ! Got my copy today and looking forward to reading it.

Congratulations Hawk, that is fantastic. Since you are retired now, that might become your new destiny.

Cheers,
