New Dash pads? are these any good?

Abcs pad around the cluster abruptly ends and has a seem right at the top of where the instrument cluster would be. The factory pads where smooth up there. Has anyone else seen this? I've encouraged abc to fix this problem in their mold but they need to hear it from more of us. The very top edge chrome around my instrument cluster is almost hidden by this seem. I will try to get pics

I got one of ABC pads, got it at the mopars,at the strip show. Plastc core, been installed almost two years now no problems, happy with fit and finish

I paid $40.00 to have my '72 SSP dash pad freshened up. What is the big deal? Some fresh foam and fabric, glue and a few staples. I know mine was done in a Mexican upholstery shop, but still.

The dash frame is still the original, the dash pad has a inner core made of plastic, the new dash pad bolts to the original dash frame, here a pic of the frame without the dash pad

Do you have a picture?

this edge detail is hard to see once the pad is on the dash and in the car... I don't see any reason why abc couldn't fix their mold to make their pads spot on like factory ones. you guys need to call and tell them to do this..they have already heard from me on this issue

I see what 400sforever is saying, mine is hardly noticeable, so maybe they made them better but all I know is mine is a driver, and I would much rather see this

Has anyone used Palco? It is an overlay where you smooth over the old pad, add new pad , and glue the overlay to it.

Know this is an old thread but I’m looking for a show quality restored dash pad for my 1971 Charger. Any recommendations?
