On a trip for work. Had to make a stop here since I was close. D/A was -2393 when I was there. Would have to drill the jets with a 1/4" bit.

Track was dry. I’m thinking they should have built it with water pipe heat in the pavement. It’s about 40 miles outside of Anchorage. There’s also one near Fairbanks. I’ll be up that way in a few weeks. If I have time I’ll check it out as well.

Doug, when I was in the Army stationed at Fort Richardson near Anchorage, occasionally I would get a Sunday off and head up to Palmer, where that strip is located. I had a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a 383 and 727. Totally stock. Ran low 15s. Won class a few times, but gave away the trophies to the neighborhood kids years later. This was in 66-67!

I could only imagine that your passes would look something like these.

It feels like that amount of traction at times, lol
