Night before last we got 7 inches of snow, a record for this early in the year. And then to top it all off yesterday a snow/sleet mixture. Salt trucks got called out and started spreading mid day. Normally we would have at least another 3 weeks of cruising in old iron, but not meant to be this year. Sure am envious of you folks down south and out west.....

Mother Nature has really laid into us early this year in the Upper Midwest. Not sure we are going to see a reprieve until the spring. The rule of thumb for me as well is when the salt goes down, the cars get tucked away.

Just a feather in the hat of the dumpster fire we are calling 2020....

D

75 here today in Buffalo NY and then 34 at night Saturday and talk of snow in the next week.....once the salt trucks go the cars are done. Taking a half day today and tucking all the summer stuff away during the nice weather. Sucks doing it today, but beats washing the mower and cars when its 49 outside.

You'd love it "down under" in Queensland. 300 sunshine days a year (a day with at least 8 hours of sunshine), and the coldest it gets is about 45°F on a winter's night. Drive your classic all year round.

Still in the 90's in Southern Nevada. But Monday the high will be 64.

Lots of rain and cold on this end of the state. Hope we get a week of Indian summer so we can get out one las time this year

How do you all survive down under with all the nasty insects and critters? Get rid of those and I'll relocate. lol

76 Today....54 tomorrow and Sunday. Rollercoaster weather. But at least I get to drive my car year round on winter days when it's around 40.

We should be in prime "season" right now, but almost all month has been torrential rain storms right as I'm getting off work.

I did manage to drive it twice, though.

Drove the Dart to work today, it's prime driving season right now. But we pay for the privilege with $0.50/gal gas tax for crap gas.

It's all bullshit, makes for good media. It's no different to parts of the US, snakes here and there, crocs here and there, a few spiders and sharks. Day to day it's not an issue, honestly.

Last year it never stopped raining, this year has been a drought and now it's 80 degrees in the middle of October!

Went to Bull Head Az yesterday and gas was $1.75 at a Fast Stop. Nevada $2.45.Nv has higher fuel taxes.
Just now getting cool enough to drive cars that don't have A/C (like mine :))
