Purchased this 62 that was for sale on the board

How are you going to make it your own? It is a really nice example but was just wondering about your plans.

Sharp Car! Congrats!
I would love to see it in person...Are you bringing it to Carlisle next year?

This car was built by Bob Dyer Industries, well known in the NSS circle.
The block is shot from throwing a rod at about 6500 RPM going through the traps at Cecil County.
I was looking to preserve the history of the car, as I wanted to build an NSS
car of my own one day, All of the hard work is done with this one.
Not looking to change a lot on the car, with the exception of a new engine, and some small mods of my own preference.

Thanks John. Hopefully I will have a new engine in it and I will be able to go to Carlisle.
I renewed my spaces for next year, hope to see you there.

Nice...a piece of coveted history you have recalling the days of mopar drag racing legends back in the day...

I love those old cars... nothing you can’t handle I’m sure , I really love the old NSS racers.. A few tweaks and a little love and your back in the game !

Did you ever race against it?
Your picture was from when Dale owned the car. His son in law took the reigns for a while, then Ron sold it to me.

No, I was just a spectator at Beaver Springs Dragway Pa. US 30 York reunion. That was one of the early reunions maybe 2010?

Real nice example of a SS from the era. Great to see that you own it now. When I read the title of your thread I thought it was the Welcome Wagon with a new member! Good luck with her and I hope to see it in person again.
