Fellas,
To refresh, I have a '67 GTX that at sometime in it's life had the 440 pulled and a '67 383 installed. For the last few months I have been rounding up correct parts to put it back together. I am in the process of hooking up the trans kickdown linkage. The car came with some of the linkage components but I am not sure if they are correct. I would think when the 440 was pulled the owner kept all the same linkage and put it on the 383. Take a peek at the pic of the intake bracket that was on it. Not sure if this is the correct bracket because it has two different mount points for a cable. Possibly from a cruise control car? I would purchase a complete, correct setup if someone has one for a 383 with a 727 trans. Thanks, Eric

Not sure what that is off of but it looks like it should work if you have all the parts for the kick down system. Yes that throttle cable bracket is for cruise control.

I could never get the Hodge podge to work. Even if I could I didn't like the bellcranks and lack of easy adjustability. It's pricey, but the bouchillion solution works great and easy to adjust.

That bracket is from a truck. I don't see any reason why pieces from a car set-up wouldn't work with it as long as it's a 3 piece set. However, mix matching parts doesn't usually end well. Lots of places sell the complete set, but it's expensive.

You need to start a wanted thread if you are looking for parts. Mopar tech forum isn't a good place to ask transmission questions.

I have a complete set of original 67 383 kickdown linkage, PM me if you are interested

Thanks for the input guys. I wasn't sure if the bracket was from an aftermarket kit that added cruise or not. I have seen GTX's with cruise added. Thanks.

Need help, I have a 1972 Sebring Plus took out 318 replaced with a 1967 383 and a 727 trans, which kickdown linkage do i need. Thanks so much.

That linkage is pricey but that's up to you. I run a Lokar cable set up in my 71 with 383 also. Works fantastic and a bit cheaper

I got mine off of ebay. A guy on there has nicely restored sets of kickdown linkage. I followed his copy of the service manual adjustment procedure he included in the kit and it works perfectly now. I started with nothing.

Ive tried Lokar and Bouch but got the best result by combining Bouch and Mancini.
Rock solid, adjustable and not attached to a carb bolt.
