'68 GTX Fender Tag

Do or die tomorrow morning.. 3 hour drive, each way, to go have a look see and it's held for me so no harm showing a picture now. It's a driver, but I have an entire Winter to clean her up.. LOL..

Sharp looking car Wayne, hope it turns out to be as advertised. Thought you weren't venturing any farther than your driveway till the virus is in check?

We go out for cruises.. just don't stop anywhere other than a chip stand. Car owner knows we're coming and that my wife is immune suppressed. Worst case she stays in her car while we talk $'s.. LOL

Pics look light, but I have a video of it running that looks the correct colour, so I'll see tomorrow. My camera does the same **** to my Bee, where as the Wife's camera catches the correct colour. Hopefully I find it's QQ1 when we get there..

 Good luck my man!

8+ hours on the road. We almost got T boned, my side, in Leah's Challenger on the way back. Still have my deposit money in my pocket and my spare set of licence plates. A no at this point. One of those "rabbit holes" that I know what the end cost is once I'd be happy with it. Not dismissed yet, but it didn't make me go WOW when I walked in the shop to write a cheque. Colour is a bit light for QQ1 and too dark for Hawaiian Blue.. I'll do another post later on the collection, this was the only one CURRENTLY for sale...

What took the itch out of your trigger finger.
Just a lot of little things that start adding up to is it worth the effort or search for a better car. I just left him to consider the sale price. Paint is not correct, has a few cracks in the body work, scratched glass, grill resto.. front and back panel, radiator and the list quickly brings me back to a 4 year x 3000 hour restoration still fresh in my mind! LOL Not gonna happen with no personal attachment to a car... some other stuff he has in the works, like another clean '68GTX, might be another story... or the Swinger.. or the Cuda.. or the Dart.. lol

If you are looking for a show car keep looking, if you want a decent looking car that you can jump in & go for a drive with no serious concerns if the deal is right it has potential...

Show car?... haven't been to one in 20 years. You've seen what I do to my fresh Bee correct ! lol I'm in no hurry, price + clean up just can't be justified in my mind to come in at a price I could buy a restoration for. I think it should be darker, wife would love it lighter, but a '67 Cuda caught her eye back in the body shop. I'm stuck on the 14,000 mile triple black Swinger or Hemi '68 GTX that are currently "not for sale" but we'll work on that!
