The new ram sucks

Yeah i already regret posting it. :D
Thought more people would share my opinion.
Wait, wait, wait, hold the phone here.....let me get this straight:
You came on a MOPAR enthusiast website and barfed all over a DODGE - and expected others to support
you in doing so??
Dude, seriously.....

It's obvious you intended to instigate controversy. Well, you got plenty.
BTW, if you've had the experience of driving both vehicles, your tune would change a bunch and
you'd no longer have trouble differentiating between a Ram and that imitation pickup from the rising sun.

Wait a second here guys... As long as we are bashing vehicles.. Germany stole from their own design... WTF Rabbit turned into a pickup.. :) Which stole the idea from Subaru

Subaru 1977

Then ripped off by Dodge. The 1982 to 1984 Rampage.. But Dodge did it better. with the rock solid 2.2l give or take a head gasket or 2 :)

What about the el camino and ranchero? Both already existed way bevor these vehicles.

Also look at the Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon which look almost identical to the Rabbit Mk1.
I dont know who copied here.

You are correct.. My dumb *** forgot about the Omni and the Charger... Doh! Yea Ranchero and Elcamino have been around since the 50's.

I'll stick with my 84 W350 crewcab that I built...converted from 2wd to 4wd and swapped in a 93 1st gen drivetrain and a ton of other upgrades and parts.

And plow my acreage with my 85 Ramcharger with a factory Sno-commander plow set-up.

Unless they make it illegal to drive these old vehicles I'll keep driving them until my end.

i love my 2014 ram which held up pretty good 150k miles

i still have, but these new ones are just wow

Wow this blew up.
So let me say some words!
I had a 2003 ram 2500 it was great. Did everything I ever asked of it except grow back doors !
I had a 2020 ram 1500 4x4 as a rental for two weeks after my f250 got hit
That truck if you could call it that was a pos!

It's not a truck it's got so much crap in it and elc bs it rides like a car all the safety stuff makes it horrible to tow with and it got stuck in 10 mins of driving in mud !
It's a fiat not a dodge!
I drove a new toyota not long ago it was a bit cramped but it did what I asked and didn't get stuck . A family member has a older tundra it has 400000+ miles on it and still going.
These new "trucks" are not that great
I would take a pre 2006-7 all day long
Would prefer late 80's Early 90's

Best truck I've ever had was my work truck 2002 f350 with the 7.3 power stroke
That was a bad *** truck .
I wouldn't buy ether truck posted here a nice used truck is the way to go !
There nice looking but my truck is for work not car shows

no comparison 1500 model drive like a car they ride very nice no snow plow stuff good for hauling small trailers, got an enclosed car trailer was a little dicey with that half ton, I stepped into that 2500 and it reminded of an older truck the way the footing and weight on the ground plus the way it drives

I still love my old 95 1500 5 speed manual 5.2 magnum 4x4 with 121,000 flawless ticks on the clock. this thing has NEVER let me down or left me walking

The 2002 Ram 1500 that I bought in April '02.....

It took me awhile to get used to the front end styling. I loved having a fresh, new vehicle but that huge grille just stood out like a giant banner. After a few months, I grew to like it.
In 2006, I bought this:

Same H U G E grille with different headlights....even bigger than the 2002.
A guy ran a stop sign and hit me in the left front and......

2006 2.JPG

The collision knocked me off track and into a steel pole like a billiard ball. 40 to zero in a few short seconds. The first and only time I have seen an air bag deploy. 33,000 mile truck reduced to junk in seconds.

I went and bought another one though....

The OP shows a TRX Rebel Hellcat, not a reg Ram

it's fucken badass, Raptor Killer
I completely disagree (red-xed) with the Toyota 'Lookalike' assessments

One 1500 isn't every 1500. I owned a 1500 sport with a 360 years ago.. 95 maybe?? What an absolute turd of a truck, motor was great but put any weight in it or a trailer behind it and you better be prepared for a sketchy ride home! My 2019 1500 with the 5.7 is a completely different truck, just towed home a Massey Ferguson 65 with a 6' brush hog and loaded tires on a 3,000 lb trailer.. set the cruise control and comfortably drove home as if nothing was back there. Yes it's decked out, smooth riding, has bells and whistles but it also gets it done.. as of now (if it proves to be reliable) it's my favorite out of all of the vehicles I've owned not counting the Charger of course.

My 99’ Club Cab SB 5.9 CTD and now I have an 11’ Crew Cab SB 6.7 CTD, those two trucks are light years apart. My son needed more room so I upgraded to the 11’, no DEF which I wasn’t wanting.

I think a lot boils down to application and how it was ordered... 4X4 without limited slip rear differential isn’t a big help. Wrong gear for the job and it will be a slug... I watched my buddy use his 2020 2500 6.4 and it’s a horse pulling gravity wagons trailers etc ..

Do they still have the round knob for the shifter down next to where the A/C control knob is/was? That was ghey. I wasn't a fan of the 8-speed trans that was constantly shifting either, but some folks might like that. I will give the new ones the win on ride quality though, the switch to the modern suspension was long overdue IMO. Nicer ride than my '04 for sure.

column shift on the 2500 cummins 6 speed
