Looked on the 'net first of course.
Only reference was in a book, comparing performance to a Crane roller.
No lift or duration mentioned.

Anyone have any leads? Thanks.

Wrong part number. #3512725 is a bracket. http://arizonaparts.com/partslist.asp

chrysler cam 3512725.jpeg

Interesting... A Mopar screwup??

But, I'd believe a Chrysler part with a number on it, rather than a description.....
And, Geoff Stunkard mentions that cam part number in a book...

Hard to believe there is no information on the net for a Hemi cam.

I just messaged Geoff Stunkard. Hopefully he will respond.

Here's a chart of MP Hemi cams but I don't see the 725 cam on there.

Hemi P3690814 SSH-44-108 292 .510" 106 Zero
Hemi P4007945 C.D. Stock "Cheater" 342/348 .490/.480" 103 Zero
Hemi P3412090 STX22-105 310 .590" 104 .028 .032
Hemi P3571029 725-105 340 .643/.623" 103 .028 .032
Hemi P3690587 Mini Express-104 324 .684/.663" 103 .024 .028
Hemi P3690591 R-290-446-104- Crane *290 .700/.678" 103 .028 .032
Hemi P4007253 R292-500-106 Cam Dyn. 0292 .785/.760" 103 .032 .032
Hemi P3690839 R-296-4778-108 Crane *296 .750/.726" 108 .032 .032

Those are "P" part numbers, the one asked about is an OEM number. The best I get is PN 3462355 for a '70-'71 Hemi cam. This cam had the same specs as the '68-'69 cam; 284 degrees duration and 0.470" lift.

3571029 looks like it may be the “725” cam.
Will get some measurements off the cam itself.

here is the info from an old dc book , I was a chrysler dealer an saved all the book back into the 60's

Geoff messaged back with some information you can check out.

""Hi Mike I don't offhand. You might check with Jim Kramer. As I recall, that was the standard SS solid lifter version and was not really radical.""

Looks like that second pic from Silversedan answers the question.

It seems that in typical Mopar fashion....... the number on the part...... is not the “part number”.

The "P" number includes the lifters.... "Camshaft package".

I don’t see a “P” in the pics of the numbers in those pages.

Was the cam available/sold as an individual part without the lifters?

I don't believe you could get the cam separately.

The "P" number includes the lifters.... "Camshaft package".

After the change from Direct Connection to Mopar Performance,"all " performance part numbers started with a P. That included any part that was considered performance orinated in any factory performance car.If the same part was used in both performance non,all it did was increase the price of the part.

Wasn't the '71 Hemi (possibly the '70 also) cam was a hydraulic lifter grind....the last year of Hemi production???
