R.I.P.

RIP Alex, Jeopardy will never be the same!

Wife and I we just wondering how he was getting along last week. He had a good run and made it a lot longer than most with pancreatic cancer. Wife's first husband died at 48 from that wretched disease. RIP Alex.

A nightly lifetime family traidition that will never be the same.
R.I.P. sir-- you will be greatly missed.

Speaking for my wife and I…x2.
Eating dinner at 7:00 PM watching Jeopardy was our tradition.

In 1992 when I got cable TV in the Duplex, there would be an east coast feed and West coast feed for many TV shows. I got in the habit of watching the East coast episodes of Jeopardy before the Wife got home. Later, when the West coast feed came on, we'd watch it together. I started rattling off the correct responses to some really obscure stuff. It was fun to see the amazement in her face when I knew the inventor of plastic or the dictator of Uganda in 1842 and other weird stuff.

I recommend Holtzhower but he’s not a Hockey Puck.
