Folks, Here are some pics that I took last Wednesday, Nov 4, 2020. We brought it up from the shop for a wash job and vacuum. Still have some Nits and Nats to finish like put on Wipers and get front end aligned with some other stuff to adjust, but wanted to get a couple of pics to you all. I say THANK YOU to you folks. You all have helped a TON during this restoration. For those of you that are not familiar, it is a 66 Coronet 500, 361, 4 sp, Numbers matching drive train and any other part that we could reuse. Original owner, after the dealership/demo was my father in law. Wife drove it as her high school ride. In the barn in '83, to our house 5 years ago. Best and thanks again. B.

She's a real beauty and I like that you even found that OEM battery hold down!

Mike, Yes that, I think, was a Special Order in 66. :). Anyway, temporary till I get a battery that at least Looks more like a 66 for the car.

I appreciate you all and most of all, appreciate your help. It has been a long pull and well worth it.

Best, B.

She's GORGEOUS! Congrats and well done - and I like the STORY behind the car even better!
You deserve this:

I have to say that is one nice old rag top! I really like that you went the stock 361 with a 4 speed.. it’s unique and it pops! Should be a really enjoyable car to cruise in!

Do you know the production numbers? Has to be quite rare with that combo. I had a '66 Satellite convertible with a factory 361 and 4 speed....I believe something like 1 of 78. Beautiful ride!

In the research that was actually done by a member here, this is a One of 62. So, yes, quite rare. Thank you for your complement. I do appreciate it. B.
