New here. 426 Max Wedge surprise!!

Hello all.
Bob H Here. I am from Nebraska and i own the Imperial salvage yard. imperialheaven.com
Been doing the Imperial parts for 34 years now and enjoy every minute. Right now i do not own a muscle car. But a 69 hemi orange with a black vinayl top would be a dream come true. And a 4 speed would really fill the ticket. See if some day that works out.
I joined this club because to my surprise i found out by mistake that a 1966 Imperial 4 door hardtop i have, had a 426 Max Wedge in it. I had sold a 440 to a customer and when i pulled the motor, Here set and 426. So i have no need for it and i need to learn as much as i can before i sell it. Any help will be greatly appriciated. I was told that this is the best group to learn from. So thanks for letting me join. I am looking forward to it!

Welcome Bob. You can learn a lot about your max at Greg Lanes race hemi and maxwedge pages. I believe Greg has passed, (hope im wrong about that!) but i think his page is still up. Its bookmarked on my phone, so i am not sure of its status

Nothing that old. But there is a 39 Imperial coming up for sale online in Iowa. Let me know if interested?

I always wanted to MAX Wedge my '65 Crown Coupe but looks like somebody beat me to it!
