I have seen a lot of posts for the rear wheels, but I have not seen much for the front. Just curious as to what is the biggest Wheel and Tire I can run on my 69 Roadrunner. It has stock suspension and drum brakes. Wheel size tire size and backspacing would be helpful. Thank you for any and all help.

the largest i've seen someone say they run is a 245/60r15 on a 15x8 with 4.5BS..... i havent tried this though....so i cant guarantee it'll work.

i will be running a 15x7 with 215/70r15 when i get my car and i know you can fit bigger however i dont have the car yet and wanted to purchase new wheels and tires, so i'm playing it pretty safe....

seen 15x7 with 235/60r15 and they seem to fit with room spare...

also, the front needs to work with the back, so you will need to take this into consideration. you dont want a taller tire in the front than the back and you dont want to go too extreme on the big/small look as it can cause stress to the front end and ruin the handling, however a bit of rake looks good in my opinion.

i'm running 275/60/r15 in the back on 15x8 and 215/70r15 on the front on 15x7 this is a 28"and a 27" combo only a 1/2 rake to the front.

2257515 on 15x6 on the front, and 2756015 on 15x8 on rear.
