Oh man! Hope you at least got food out of it...
Thanks. I was wondering. Found a fender for $1300 on Ebay. I'm with Hagerty and I hope it was a good decision. I'm thinking the trim is going to be the hard search. If I wasnt already half full of fine single malt scotch, I'd puke.I feel for you, truly sad to see. Parts for 64's don't grow on trees, but I have found that Classic car insurers are very flexible on parts prices. 5 or 6 years back we did a collision claim on 64 Ford Galaxy 500. We had to pay big bucks for a hood, grill and hood trim, but they didn't question the cost of the parts even with our markup and were very generous on the labor hours. They were a little shaky on the paint time until I told them it was either do it my way or we disassemble and paint the whole car.
I really didn't have any appetite when it happened...By the looks of it that deer is a bag of bones.
