Hello
My wife and myself became the new owners of a very well kept 19966 Coronet 440 Convertible through an unfornutae set of circumstances . My father in law passed away very unexpectantly several weeks ago .
The car was his pride and joy . My wife Bobbie was in grade school when he brought it home .
Needless to say the car has a very deep emotional meaning to my wife .
I've agreed to be the caretaker for the next 30 or 40 years .Changes to the car are to very very carefully considered ...

Welcome from Alabama, keep it running right and don't change a thing. It looks great.

Welcome from to close to Milwaukee
Very nice 66

Welcome aboard from NJ. Beautiful Coronet but sorry for your loss. I am sure your father in law would be happy to know that you plan on taking care of it!

There are very few changes I’d like to make . My father in law was a lifetime me Dodge owner . At one time he owned 3 of these at the same time . Harlan upgraded this one with many of the available options such as power brakes and steering . He opted for disc brakes up front . However he choose 14” rims up front and 15” out back . He also never carried a spare . I’d prefer to have 4 tires the same and a spare in the trunk . No dash lights . I’m thinking somebody must have an led conversion . Different headlights might be nice

Hi Dakar Timm, a big :welcome: from Canada! My condolences to you and your wife for the loss of her father. So nice that you're keeping the car and memories, it looks like it was well taken care of and is still in good hands.

Nice 66 it is too

sorry to hear about your Father in law

welcome to FBBO

Welcome from Missouri!! Nice car!! I have 14's up front and 15's on the back and like it that way, of course there's nothing normal about my car.

Nice ride. Welcome to the clan, and sorry for your loss. Yes, they definitely make an LED conversion, and there's a fella here who makes and sells relay kits for the headlight (Rob... screen name Crackedback).
