I posted this in the tools thread but just wanted you guys to see they changed the rules about what can be labeled as "Made in USA".

So... I'm working in the yard today. The rake I was using broke. It's maybe 5 years old. The collar /ferral whatever it's called was plastic. POS. Pretty sure it was Chinese.
I'm gonna weld a piece of 1/2" conduit on it and I'll never need another one.

Get ready for the return of more China products with the new administration coming in as corporate taxes will be raised high enough to force small biz over seas...IMO:(

And, sadly, this is another made in USA that made it through quality checks. Holley Black fuel pump. The gasket was kinked.

Sorry / Sad to see.. I noticed while at the Moparty they had a lot of new mr gasket mopar parts on display and was really disappointed to see made in China for premium buck. Holley is one of their companies I hope they don’t import the majority and then do the 30% assembly to get the made in USA logo on it... best of luck don’t give up.. I still believe made in USA is always the best , also I feel better knowing I help keep my country working and friends and families, I also try to keep the money here.

Looks like K&N still makes the filter elements here

Also using one of these on my boat engine. 700HP, dry sump, BBC.

since MSD is all chink garbage, I switched to these guys. Based in Florida.

Nice to see more small companies making American made goodies.. I used to swear by MSD , a good buddies brother used to work for them in El Paso . I think they went the China boat on most like the Mr Gasket stuff. Mr.G high flow t stats are not good, about lost my buddies 69 charger due to it sticking and blowing the hose off at highway speed and threw coolant under it and put it out him into a bad skid and he made it thru.. I got it for him, actually got a pair and both stuck at different times.
