I know the folks real well and they made me wait a long time to buy this car because the brother made mention he wanted it. I think they felt bad because it was a lot better shape ten years ago when I first inquired about the car but oh well. I offered them $3000.00 and they took it. They had some other offers from tire kickers who were helping clean up the place. Not sure what they offered. Either way it’s mine now.Great score!
Don't fall into the trap where you take it all apart for a restoration then get overwhelmed and abandon the whole thing. That happens a LOT. I see some rust holes in a few places. That is to be expected from a classic car that has been outside for 35 years!
What did you end up paying for it?
I had to pay $5000 for a wrecked '70 Charger. I have a thread going here titled "Lookie what $5000 buys you". I am bringing the car back to life while essentially ignoring the cosmetic aspects of it all. Good luck....Be sure to start your own topic on the car and your journey with it.

Thanks!! I have my first child (baby girl) on the way. She will be here in April. I need to jack the car up and do a walk around video. I’ll try to do it soon.View attachment 1028252
Congrats! Now, a couple questions if I may:
1. Who is this "baby" to which you refer?
2. How badly is the underside eaten up?
Good luck with it!

Frozen North, you must be close to Fort St John.
Welcome from Western MarylandHowdy from Texas!! My name is Blake. I had some customers when I worked at a western wear store who told me about this car sitting behind their parents house. Said her dad bought it brand new. That was ten years ago and I said to make sure they called me first. Kept up with them from time to time. Had not heard from them for at least five years. Never got to see it or really get much info on it until September of this year when they finally called me.
69 Dodge Charger
318 auto with AC
Green on green on green.
Everything looks original.
It has been sitting since 1985. I was born in 1985
I rescued it and it is now sitting in my shop next to my 1990 D250. I’ll post more info as I can. I am really excited to have my dream car. It is sexy even in its current state. Here are some pictures.
