I agree, my Durango is the first car I've owned that I didn't have totally de-badged before picking up.Lots of dealer emblems back then were screwed or riveted on. Personally, I would have been pissed if I bought a brand new car and the dealership drilled holes in it.
That's exactly what I told the dealer when I bought my 1st Road Runner. Only new car I ever bought.Lots of dealers notorious for that. A friend of mine ordered a new 66 GTO and he told them that if they drilled holes in his trunk they could keep the car.
My 2000 Durango had a license plate frame from the Dealer...Crown Dodge but they had a good rep and my buddy gave me a great deal on it so I left it on. He also gave me a trailer hitch cover that had the oval Crown logo so I took the plate frame off....but then some moron rear ended the Durango and broke it. At least it didn't hurt anything else.I agree, my Durango is the first car I've owned that I didn't have totally de-badged before picking up.
