69 passenger door vent channel

When the lift (torque) is applied, the lower lift attachment in the picture jerks forward before the window raises. Actually to the right or rear of the car. This changes the alignment from what it is in at rest. I don't see a way to snug the channel. The issue didn't developed slowly though. Something moved. How does it look? If it is the plastic roller wheel, I don't have the skill to replace it.

For starters....some grease can be a good friend....Grease that roller with wheel bearing grease. Check also if all attaching hardware is tight...

I'd like to be helpful but I have no experience with this. I would have to dig into my own car to know exactly what you are describing.
Sorry that I cannot help.

Dennis, nobody could answer this question when I posted this video. I bought the kit and installed it and mine still see sawed. I figured it was due to the lack of rubber between the top of the channel and the bottom of the glass that was there when I disassemble the channel to strip it. I tried gluing strips of rubber varying thicknesses in there but ended up bonding both channels to the glass with black 3M weatherstrip adhesive since they make a solvent that can dissolve it. I am not advocating anyone do this. Especially, since I know some of you vehemently disagree with my method here. But where were you when I aked for the proper solution?

If we never saw the thread then how can one help?

Dennis, Hope this helps. Not many responses then. I don't know how many viewed and moved on.
Several posted in the thread gave appropriate answers.....I am not sure you acquired the right replacement which is the first problem and secondly those tabs can be bent slightly in to creater a tight fit with the gasket....

Thread responses is negated on what section it was posted in, what people know and if someone already posted the same answer then why post the same?

It's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.

I won't argue with you in Dennis' thread.

I'm not arguing your the one bringing it up in another thread, that's all....

Guess I shouldn't have answered your Problem but your welcome....

I appreciate everyone's input. I snugged and lubed everything and reassembled it.
It closes further, but still does not seat where it should be. Still binds at very top as you can hear the motor gradually slow. It runs super strong and fast the first 2/3rds of the way up.
No collateral damage this time. Access next time will be easier, getting familiar with the process. Again, no negatives on a1electric aftermarket power windows. Motors both strong and switches work fine. I got the basic switch kit. This is an alignment issue.

Not real up on the setup but if it’s binding toward very top, an in-out problem? I say that because your lower channels are almost out of play by then.

Took it to my shop. Both door windows now work without binding and close all the way.
Money well spent. Valaya Racing, San Jose. Ted.

The division channel seal attaches to the front of the glass on the side window using the supplied pins and the plastic guides rub the channel as the glass goes up and down. When the seal gets dry and brittle it can bunch up and prevent proper movement.

I need these and can’t find the right application on their website.

Far from perfect but it works. Channels fit with trimming.
