Sounds crazy but I had long ago decided to paint the grill body color so filling isn't a big concern. I had significant dents in both upper outside corners to hammer out but found a deep groove worn into one side. The previous owner had a cab over rack on it which looks to have been rubbing on the grill for quite some time so it's not something that's going to hammer out... other than that it's in excellent condition.
So... I plan to give it a light blasting to get it cleaned up and ready for epoxy but have never filled aluminum? Regular filler over aluminum or epoxy or do I use a different product? It didn't rub through so we're talking very, very minimal filler, several coats of primer might even fill it?
