You will be fine with Hagerty. They will insist on making your car the way you want it. My personal experience was nothing short of fantastic. Sure they will ask questions however in the end it was done "my way".

He's doing the work himself, why I asked ! I do a lot of aircraft insurance work and the owner doing the work themselves never works in their favour...

I'm gonna be alright.
I was very pleased with Hagerty. They sent a local adjuster and he used ebay parts prices I provided and used book labor rates. They didn't ask for estimates. I will get out of this just fine. ;^)

So now when are gonna build the Mrs. her car from that parts car? It really doesn’t look too bad from the pics. Best of luck let us see the end result and also how hagerty handled the claim after it was all said and done ... I’m considering them myself, hagerty that is.

The parts car has no title. Someone repaired the floor so its not bad at all. Its two cars spliced together. The frame has some rust on the ps rear. If I get my driver done and the 63 C10.....

As some of you know, I've had Hagerty for years and had recent cause to file a claim with them -
which they handled beautifully.
I simply could not have asked for better, more prompt and professional service.

Feeling a LOT better now. Finish reassembly and then on to the hood. Just got the check from Hagerty. I am VERY pleased with their service.
