Ive been toying with the idea of selling this project. Looking for a ballpark figure where to start. Needs front floor, lower quarters, full trunk and rear window areas. Its a super Track pack, 4 speed, numbers matching 440,dana, air grabber with PW tach, AM FM, 6 way seat, and great color.

Just say it has a fender tag.

Not sure of the value, but it would be a sharp looking car when done.

Four speed, Air Grabber, Q5. Think very carefully before you let that one go. All very desirable options and very hard to find a GTX with one of those options let alone all 3. I think you're looking at $20k-$25k depending on rust and completeness.

20k. Floor, quarters and trunk are a given, window channels can be a HUGE problem though. 4spd, numbers, air grabber are all plusses. Neat car when done, but whoever buys it and does it right, will be upside down unless they steal it.

Agreed: If you don't want to be upside down on a project car better off not buying one. I don't think there is a way not to be upside down on anything unless you take a bunch of shortcuts and flip it to an uneducated buyer.

Got to b able to do a lot of the work yourself, but then it could take a very long time

Done and Done RIGHT car could pull upper 50s right now.

As a project is tough to value and projects can be a god send or royal pain in the arse depending on who is doing the work and they particular capabilities

So that said, I think the car could pull mid to upper teens the way it sits,,,, if the right buyer sees it

If I was buying? I would bid $15k. If selling? I would ask $24k. True value VERY likely somewhere in the middle. JMO of course. 2 eager buyers could easily prove me wrong.
