Sail panels on a 70 roadrunner what holds them tight to the car ,mine are sagging in the middle I have new ones what to reinstall them to clean up interior

Are you referring to the cardboard panels on the interior side of the C pillars? Aren't they wedged in place between the rear window trim and headliner border trim?

If they are the same as 69's, there is a clip attached to the back of the panel that pushes into the car. Pretty common for the clip to come apart from the board.

and the clip is just pressed into the cardboard and held in place with little star shaped prong teeth. Not the most steadfast method. I believe I glued one of mine back in when it came loose.

Yes, I have used contact cement myself on them.
