Looking for a 400 crank pulley. I'm throwing an engine together to put into an old dodge pickup and this is one item that I'm missing. Looking for a cheaper alternative than buying a new one.

PM me with a price if you have one.

Thanks
Dave

I don't think that any 400 V8 ever came with just a single groove crank pulley. If so, I'd love to know what model of vehicle it came in.
I have several single groove crank pullies that mostly came from stripped down 273 and 318 equipped A-body cars.
I'll need a diameter and depth measurement to help you. $15 each plus a $15 shipping charge for a USPS Flat Rate box.

Thanks. According to the 440 source website the diameter is approximately 6.5" and the offset is 2". They say offset is measured by laying it on the harmonic balancer face and measuring to the center of the groove.

440 source says their pulley works for big and small block applications.

My truck doesn't have power steering....so I don't need a two groove pulley.

Let me know if you find one....the price is right!

I can check tomorrow. PLEASE remind me....I can get distracted and forget.

If Kern Dog doesn't have what you need, @Rat Rod Al is currently selling a bunch of pulleys.

I have a pair of BB exhaust manifolds for a pick up , if and when you get to that point and need options.
And yes I do have a lot of pulleys, if KD doesn't have what you need.

Thanks

Will the manifolds work for a 67 d100? If so, how much are you asking for them? The truck came with custom made headers (the guy did a nice job on them) but he said they're 20 years old and may need some repairs. This is no race truck for me, so manifolds would be the way to go for me.

I'll let you know what I hear from KD.....he's on the left coast so I got to give him time to wake up.

Dave

You're looking for a single groove, 6 1/2" dia x 2" deep ?
I'll see what I have The manifolds are for 72-9? Don't know about 71 down. So much room in the old trucks ,I don't know why they wouldn't.

Let me do some checking....I'm sure the 61-71's were center dump also and there is plenty of room in ther

The passengers side manifold appears to be a rear dump on big block sweptlines, but I have a small block truck that is all original and it is center dump on both sides. From a room standpoint there is no reason center dump manifolds would not work on both sides. How much are you wanting for the manifolds?

I had a B-5 Blue 72 Road Runner. 400 4 speed bench seat, manual steering, manual brakes, standard non remote mirror bare bones kind of car. That was a single groove crank pulley and I don't see why it wasn't original to the car....
