So installed my shifter yesterday, everything went relatively smooth with one exception. The neutral safety switch works in park, reverse neutral, 2nd & 3rd. The problem is in 1st, if shifting from neutral to 1st I can still start the motor, if I give the shifter just a little bump it will not.
I've adjusted the cable to my witts end..any recommendations? It seems like the adjustment is very finicky.... too far, park won't engage, and vice versa. How can I tell with the cable connected that each position is fully engaged?
Thanks

adjust the cable in 3rd

Thanks, that's where I started as per the instructions. But with lever all the way fwd, could not get Park to engage. Kept slowly working the clevis back down the cable and stopped as soon as I got a positive stop in park.
I used my original arm as they looked identical but didnt have a whole lot of luck dialing it in. Switched to the new one I ordered from them, and it seemed to get me closer.

I had trouble with mine too, damned if I can remember how I fixed it. More old timers I guess!
