Looking for decent rear seat frames for my 1964 Dodge Polara convertible as my original frames are too rotted-out to use.

Not exactly sure what other B Bodies might have the same rear seat as the Polara? I've been told that other 62-65 Dodge convertibles might work. What about the early Plymouth convertibles?

Christmas is coming...what have you got? :)

I scrapped a 64 polara 500 still have the interior I’ll check on the rear seat

Thanks, I appreciate you looking but it has to be a 500 convertible. The seats in a hardtop are too wide....

Steve

Do you happen to have any interior door stainless molding from the Polara 500 for sale?

It was a convertible-big block console cable shift. I’ll get it out and see what is left

Steve, would it be possible to cut down a coupe seat?, just wondering.

Not sure Dan. I'm not that desperate yet but at some point I might be.

Two big differences that I've seen between the coupe and convertible models besides the obvious width differences is the seat frame and the 'U' in the front of the bottom seat where it goes over the driveshaft hump. On coup seats, that upside-down 'U' is very gradual, but on my convertible the 'U' is very tight, almost like this letter 'U'. I've been collecting photo's of various Dodge and Plymouth models from several sources that don't look like my originals, just so I can sort things out.

Thanks!

I don’t have the bottom of the rear seat I do have the back of the rear seat and front buckets

Thanks for looking D5667. I can't use the front buckets since my car is a bench seat style and it's still usable.

But if you'd like to post/send me some pics of your upper rear seat I'd be interested in taking a look to see if your framework is in better shape than my original. Thanks!

I have a very good rear seat frame for a 66-67 B body. Don't know if it would work for your application.

If what you have is from a convertible, it might work for my 64 but I'd need to see some pics and measurements to make sure. Thanks for your reply! :)

This is the lower for a 66-67 B body. The upper is under a few other seats. If you think it will work I'll pull it out. The 46" is the width .

Good morning Droptop. Thanks for taking/sending your pics, but it doesn't look like the 66-67 convertible seat frames are the same as the 64 convertible. In your righthand photo, the driveshaft 'U' notch looks to be a gradual angle. Here's a photo of my friends OEM seat frames from his 64 Polara convertible, and you can see how 'tight' the 'U' opening is on his bottom seat. Mine are like his black frames, but just severely rotted out...
