Hey guys I was just informed of a 1969 charger that's been sitting in a garage since 1980 I'm told it's in amazing condition a few rust bubbles on bottom edge gold white interior and black top !
Factory 318 car auto ac
I have some money from my super bee deal I can afford it but not sure what it's worth
The owner is set on his price of $15000 what should I do ? I don't know alot about these cars values
 
Probably should be a gross of diapers.. :D .. but based on the last thread of the /6 survivor Charger it was a 20/25K deal.

I'm just not sure what to do I really should buy a new car not another old car
 
Go look at it and see if what your eyes show you matches what you've been told. If it's as good as your description it won't last long. Seems more and more that 2nd gen Chargers = Gold. Take your money, because if it is the find it sounds like, and you leave without it, it might not be there when you go back. Good luck and let us know what happens!
 
I can smell it through the pics.

But 2nd gen Chargers are hot so unless it is a total rustbucket you should buy it
 
Most times the condition of a car is not quite as good once you get there to look at it for yourself. However if it is a fairly rust free second gen Charger, I would have already been over there with 15K in my pocket. If you are not interested, I would be up for a road trip......
 
No one knows about this car besides the guy who told me about it because it's the guy next door and it's in a garage out back he only saw it one day by chance the door was open .
I'm afraid if I buy it I'll have to sell it anyways because I need that money for a newer car !
I'll be more depressed if I get it then need to sell it
 
Bit of Lysol spray and an Ozone generator and it'll be like new! I even have a set of hub caps for it!

The guy who told me about it wants a discount on buying my car for the info /interdiction to the owner
Guy who wants my car said he offered the guy $10000 for it but was told no
He said it wasn't worth more then that to him .

I would look at it and if its good i would buy it.
15 grand sounds like a great deal to me if its as good as you've been told.

I would probably fix it up and maybe put a hemi in it (but keeping it look stock) if i'd be the buyer.
 
Looks like it has aftermarket add-on a/c.

Worst case for you is buy, clean it, do brakes and safety stuff, drive it! Then if you determine you really need a new car you sell it and you’ll make more money than you have into it that you can put towards your newer car..
