Rest In Peace! Prayers to his family!

I too didn't know him, but all the great ones go to soon. May you RIP Bill

Sorry to hear this. Bill was a great helpful member and an asset to the board.. I was literally just going to send him a message about a carb I have.. RIP Bill.

I didn't know Bill personally either, but it is still sad to see a knowledgeable and great member here passing.

My condolences to the family....he will be missed. :(

What part of Pa. was he from?[/QUOTE]

So sorry to hear. Bill restored the carbs on my 71 six pack. Great guy to deal with. RIP.

This is terrible news. I never met Mr. Overcash but we'd exchange emails off and on, sometimes about Mopar stuff, sometimes just general chit chat, he was a wonderful person and a class act. We were hoping to meet up this summer but with almost all events being cancelled it never happened so we were shooting for the 2021 season, this is most unfortunate. Rest in Peace Sir, until I finally get a chance to shake your hand.

Knew him for many years, I took second place at a local show against him, that is an AWESOME wagon.

Yes, Bill was a great asset to the mopar community and just a really great guy to know in general. I talked with him many times and he restored several sets of carbs for me. He had a package of some carb parts all boxed up for me but just was having some trouble getting them mailed because of taking care of his wife and the holidays. He was not feeling well for the last month but never complained to me. I could hear in his voice, he was not feeling well. I called yesterday and spoke to his wife and nephew. They need some time to adjust to this big change so if you have carbs with him, be patient. They want to make sure everyone gets there own parts back. The nephew is a member here and is a mopar guy. I think they can get things all sorted out. He was very fond of his uncle and knew a lot of his business. Bill was a talker for sure. Just listening to him was an education.
Rest In Peace, my friend.

Rest in peace Mopar friend. I hope you are doing burnouts with Jesus in Heaven.

Bill was knowledgeable and helpful to anyone who needed or asked for his help. He helped me a number of times on my 62's. RIP Bill...
