Henry rifles

I dont but my brother-law swears that they are great rifles. Sorry thats all I can tell you. Good luck

Wife got me a .44 golden boy.Its awesome and very well made. She since has bought me a Mares leg and a .22 custom engraved lever action with our county and my na me engraved in it.Great guns smooth action.

You would not be disappointed with any model. Every one I have seen and or shot have been top notch! I’d buy one in a heartbeat but don’t want it sitting on the wall! Too nice to take where I go in the woods!

We had a new Golden Boy in the family a few decades ago. I found that I preferred my grandfathers early 20th Century rifles like his Remington pump model 12.

I have only shot the rim fire rifles, but I am impressed.

New company, old name. New designs. CNC quality.
History
Henry Repeating Arms was started by Louis Imperato and his son Anthony Imperato in Brooklyn, New York in 1996. The first model produced was the Henry H001 Classic Lever Action .22 and the first shipments were made in March 1997. The original corporate motto was “Made in America and Priced Right”. Henry Repeating Arms takes its name from Benjamin Tyler Henry, the inventor who patented the first repeating rifle in 1860, known as the Henry rifle. There is no affiliation or lineage to Benjamin Tyler Henry or to the New Haven Arms Company, who sold the original Henry rifle from 1862 to 1864. Anthony Imperato secured the trademark to the Henry name in 1996.

Being pretty heavy into that sort of thing, I can't say I've ever seen or heard anything
bad about the current Henry company - their stuff is quite nice in the hands and shoots
just like it should in my experience.
They're pricy, but I'd love a lever gun from them someday...
I've always been impressed with the founding and mission of the company, too.

I'm thinking of getting a Henry single shot rifle in 45-70govt.

:D

I have shot some Henry's over the years and they are nice rifles overall. I have a Browning BL22 which I love, also have a Marlin 336 knock off in 35 Remington which I have never shot but seems like a decent rifle.

I have worked in the firearms industry since late 03 and Henry has a good rep.

I have Never heard a bad word about Henry Rifles. Plus they're American made.

I had a old henry 30/30 a few years back took it in a group trade for a car body I had!
Cool gun shot nice this one was older and it was loose very well used rifle auction was loud and clackity but functioned 100% and hut every shot with it !
I traded it for a civil war confederate saber
Not long after as it was kinda out dated and I have better weapons to hunt with !

I've seen some that were gorgeous (art work) but a gun that is to nice to fire is kinda stupid in my eyes !

RC, I have a Browning BLR which is very similar and I love it. Chambered in 450 Marlin. It's my brush elk/bear gun, well before I got a AR15 in 450 Bushmaster.

Not only are the Henry's made in the USA, but supposedly, all the machinery to make the rifles are made in the USA. Their factory is in my neck of the woods, Bayonne, NJ. I own a 44 mag lever action Eagle Scout Centennial Tribute Edition. So beautiful that it looks too nice to shoot. But it works flawlessly. The action is super smooth and it shoots straight. I can hit the paper with iron sights at 100 yds ( as long as I wear my glasses)! Pairs up beautifully with an S&W 629 in 44 mag!!!

They are making side gate models and just introduced a line of blued steel carbine and rifle side gates in pistol calibers.
Their stocks are made from Missouri walnut.

Man, that's GORGEOUS!

Bought my son a Henry .22 last year, it shoots extremely well. Feels good to hold too. I actually want a .22 and 30/30 for myself now !
