Has anyone installed a Lokar kick down cable on a Thermoquad carb? Since the Lokar works backward compared to the normal kick down some modifications have to be made to the carb.
Is there a kit for that? How about if I switch to a Holly double pumper?

Installed mine today, on a holley though. Took off that Bouchillon crap, the Lokar is so much nicer.

Did your Holly carb come with that lever or do you know where to get it?
That's how the holleys come. Nothing extra needed. I bought the Lokar duo pack, it comes with the needed bracket to mount the cable and return springs.

That's what is on the SBlock Dart I just bought. Something else for me to figure out adjustment wise. Do you have a link to their website?

Which adjustment, kickdown? Thats easy..... loosen the Allen screw at the carb end of the kickdown cable. put a weight on the gas pedal to get you WOT. Pull the cable as far forward as possible (this will pull the kickdown lever all the way back) then lock down the Allen screw while pulling the cable tight. I used needle nose vise grips to hold the end of the cable when pulling then cut the excess off. I needed no adjustment after that, shifting is perfect and so is kickdown.
Looks like yours is threaded out a good bit, I'd screw it in a little more than half way and that will give you enough cable to pull it through the front.

Thanks! Is the spring I show on the trans linkage part of the deal or something that's been thrown in there??
