I recently saw a post where a member was saying there is a difference in the angle of wiper arms between 63 and 64. I did not know that but it seems reasonable due to the shape of the windshield. Could somebody shed some light on this a little more as I love learning new stuff. Thanks in advance and pictures would be wonderful.

trying to upload pixs, but not working out. If you want to pm me and I can try emailing them.

That was probably me pointing that out that there is a difference.
Here is a picture I took showing the angle difference. Other than that, everything else about the arms are the same.
I went out on a limb saying that the 1962-63 are the same, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
If someone knows that the 1962 and the 1963 arms are NOT interchangeable, then please chime in to correct me.

The 62 pivots are cone shaped.
Iirc, 64 are squared off.
I don't have a pic of my wipers on my phone.

This place is the best! Rarefish it was your comments that spurred my curiosity but I didn't want to call you out. I appreciate all the replies. Bolson posted a picture of a 62 blade which I knew had it own goofy shape. When it gets light I will get a picture of a 65 just so we can have all of them in one place. Interesting how in each year they are different. Then I will hit the pile of 63/64 wiper blades and start sorting. Thanks all.

Hey, no problem....
I found out the hard way that there was a difference as several years back I was buying wiper arms taken off of early b-bodies at a local boneyard. Believing that they were all the same then. I had thought now, I had some spares for my 64. That was until I went to install one that had come from a 63 B-body.
When you look at bolson6333 pictures. You can see that the top of the cowl on the 64 B-body was flater and not slopped upward as the 63's were. Also the wiper pivot is located closer to the base of the windshield when compared to the 63. That is what created the change in the wiper arms.

While on this subject, anybody else have issues with the wiper system on a 64? Mine seem to have a mind of their own. I cleaned the splines, and tightened the nut on the arm,but whenever I use the wipers, they always seem to park in a different spot. Any fixes?

Thanks, Part Stalker for your 65 picture.
Looking at it jogged my memory and I need to now point out that the 1965 arms ARE different than the 1964 ones. The 65 arms did not have the locking, mounting nut that the pre 65 arms had.

There used to be an adapter available to use the 65 style on the 63 & 64s Trico I believe! Not sure if they are still available though! flea bay probably
