What going on everyone here is the 68 coronet I bought a few weeks back , had a 383 and 727 in it that ran ok but was in need of a rebuild . Pulled the motor and trans now the plan is to install a 6.4 that is currently being built with forged internals amd mmx cam , 8 speed trans and custom 4 link with a 35 spline 9 inch.

Lower axle link mount from ridetech , the other brackets I made. Adjustable upper link mounts and adjustable frame side lowers that will bolt into spring location .
Got the frame cleaned up , old shock cross member cut out , plates cut out and burned in , then got the holes drilled out for 1.5 Dom and ran the tubing thru . Pretty good start on the 4 link

Nice! My favorite year for Dodge b bodies. I had a rock solid one some years back that I sold to help pay for storm reconstruction when I lost most of the pole barn. Have tried a couple times to buy it back, but no luck so far.

Upper frame crossmember and link mounts burned in . Now just have to wait on the axle housing

Made up some sub frame connectors out of 1.5 square tube and bent some 3/16 flat stock so it could tie into the seat braces (just need to re drill the holes . Form fitted 3x3/8 flat bar to fit inside the tunnel to make up another cross member for rigidity .

Right on man, keep the pics coming. Are you gonna boost later?

Are ya gonna put some angles to connect the frame ties to the seat mounts? It’ll make that tie stronger if ya do.

I probably could have but should be fine the way it is plus ill probably be running the 1/2" supply and return fuel lines down the side so it will make it easier with no gussets there

Did you bend over the flat bar to weld to the ties?

yes the flat bar is bent over the sub frame connector on one , the other bent in front of the sub frame connector

Some updates . Still waiting on the motor which should be done this coming week hopefully . Decided to sell the 8 spd and shortly after found a t56 magnum setup for b body with 300 miles on it , owner installed but has a back injury and couldn’t safely drive it in his opinion . Got the 9” housing and pretty much finished up the 4 link

Nice the T56 is much better for fun and ease of install!

Forgot to post these but made my own clutch pedal and modified brake pedal from the auto assembly
