I am in the process of installing my 426 into my 67 Bel. 8 Cyl K member with Schumacher conversion mounts. I have been reading the posts on the site. I would like to use the original hood uncut without a scoop . Is this possible when using the Schumacher Conversion mounts? Intake in am using is a rat roaster 2x4 . Thanks

With stock 2-4bbl intake carbs and air cleaner it should go just fine. With the intake your talking about I have no idea.

High rise manifolds may or not work with a single carb. At least with one carb a drop type base works most the time. Dual quad high rise I wouldn't bet on it clearing

i have the same goal to install a gen 2 hemi in a 69 roadrunner so are the motor mount convertions to a big block k member really hold up and fit as advertised?
using stock hemi exhaust manifolds and auto trans also cross ram with Holly's
any feed back would be great
i read welding a skid plate to bottom of k member would be wise

Schumacher mounts are good quality parts, about rat roaster and cross ram intakes, both are quite tall so prepare for cutting the hood.

Stowe , actually I just did it last fall the Schumacher mounts are awesome the motor and all fit perfectly , even with stock exhaust manifolds I was going to use the rat roaster also but the carbs sit way too high ,went with the Edelbrocks on the stock manifold and modified the factory air cleaner base . Took 5/8 inch out of the base and the air cleaner element still worked . Very carefully with a few micro fibre clothes laid over the air cleaner to close the hood when done to make sure . Watch the height of the carb studs to prevent dimples on hood Lol

I would be concerned about how much airflow is effected by your drop base design.... It looks like most of the element is blocked... I would at least try modifying the sides to taper down to expose more element to airflow...

Nope exactly the same area as factory lowered the air cleaner over the carbs the air cleaner is round not easy to modify that

I just searched Hemi Dome air cleaner, never noticed that before.. Looks like some have a little more taper but not as much as I would think it should have..

My hemi was a 71 so it had the oval style air cleaner... Sure seems like that design it blocking a lot of air...
