New information on my A12 search RM23M9A280114

Hello all
Wanted to update everyone on this cars journey back to Spokane.
Buying a car site unseen of this value there’s always a concern. I can report the car is everything I was told it would be and Frank has been very good to work with all the way. Thank you Frank. Based on recommendations for transport from my friends on the A12 registry I chose TFX. Absolutely did a beautiful job caring for the car during the transport process. This experience has been extraordinary and the memories of my childhood and the street racing my dad and I did are vivid in my mind.

I have been searching for at least 25 or more years. Really stepped it up in 2001 the year my dad passed away unexpectedly.
This has truly been a blessing in my faith from God.

He is out there keeping an eye on us knuckle heads, trying to keep us from killing each other ... too many folks hating him these days and trying to kick him to the curb, we will see who gets the last laugh though. Sad, thankfully some still see the good! Sorry my opinion .

I meant to say too what groovy pants pop had on years ago! My dad has white Levi’s and some other goofy ones, sold them on eBay and got paid! First page pic.

Awesome story! Dave Carson is an awesome guy! So glad it all worked out and you got the car back!

Good to hear you got it back! Wish I could buy back some of the ones I sold off years ago, but prob will never happen. Have you started a build thread on the A12 on here?

@pro-streeter , congratulations on getting your dads car back. It’s a great feeling getting back a family member like a special car and I can feel your excitement as I had the same experience last year getting back my favorite car that I bought as a 21 year old.

Can’t wait to see more.

i have been watching this thread. so very happy for you that you got the car back.

Great story and even greater journey you have been on. I could only imagine you setting in your garage in it with a couple cold ones remembering all the good times with your dad. Congratulations.

Congratulations! Wonderful story.
I to was the owner of new A12. I was even lucky enough to spec it out at a dealership in Southgate Michigan. Right place, right time. (I posted the story about it in the A12 thread here sometime back)
It has not surfaced since 1972, last time I saw it. All I have left of it is the window sticker, paper key fob and the salesman's business card.
I am happy for you, and envy you for your recovery of your dads car.
