you cant go wrong with a Toyota but are more expensive then Kia
Since the topic is touching on vans, I just bought a 2007 Toyota Sienna AWD for my winter/salt duty. The original owner was here from Utah for Thanksgiving, and hit a deer. Not bad, but he couldn't drive it home without lights on one side. I paid $500 for it and bought an '08 wrecked in the back for $1,000. Will make one of the two.
I had a Camry and it was a very good car. I do take care of my cars and drive for fuel mileage, so cars last for me.
Is a Sienna an option for Bb70? I've yet to drive mine as a friend drove it home for me, so I don't know how it drives. It is a 7 passenger, more than enough room for my needs.
with a $20,000 budget
you could get a really nice rig out here,
I'm pretty sure they are out there too, maybe more rust issue too
4dr crew cab or even a Dakota, Durango, Cherokee etc.
4wd or 2wd/rwd or even all w/d, even vans/minivans
plenty of domestic Pick ups, 3 door club or 4dr crew cab
plenty of even big SUVs in that range
even some that don't have mega miles or even over 100k
maybe 10 years or older, still great drivers, still a lot of life left
for either tow &/or family, DD use
may not be the best on gas mileage, being an old rig
hell you could buy 2 of some, really nice ones in that price range
& not even worn out POS, foreign (co. owned) **** either
The other thing to consider I'd that today's cars 70 or 100k is really low mileage and most will get you to 300k with good maintenance. And by the way that's probably the one thing you want to have from CarFax is a consistent and regular service history.I agree fully! I've looked at so many cars that I would be happy to drive for $10k but my wife insist on a 2015 and newer and 50k and less miles and she wants air bags everywhere!
...and rear air conditioning?I agree fully! I've looked at so many cars that I would be happy to drive for $10k but my wife insist on a 2015 and newer and 50k and less miles and she wants air bags everywhere!
