So you are fine with hundreds of thousands if not millions of people dying so this **** can run its course through the population?
not saying this is true, because like Don points out, theres a lotta crappy reporting nowadays.
but, what i heard was even if you take the vaccine, you can still get the virus and pass it to others.
in other words, you can still be a Carrier and infect others,
all the while proudly proclaiming that you got the vaccine.

This vaccine is, by its very nature, political. The maskers want to close down everything in their selfishness, disregarding all of the terrible results of this - violation of every Constitutional right, joblessness, depression, suicides, spousal and child abuse, travel bans on planes, buses and trains, and much more. If you havent noticed this over the past year, you are clinically brain-dead. And they want to extend the misery indefinitely, even though this vaccine is allegedly available.

Putting masks on children is pure child abuse.

After losing my father and three extended family members to Covid, I will get the Vaccine as soon as it is possible. Thank you to all those that won’t get vaccinated , it just means I will get mine sooner.

You all can have this first one. So far from what little I have read and heard the on the one approved today it should be better. I am also thinking by the time it gets to most of us from past medical histories someone should know which is best to be taken. Instead of here it is take it or not.

My wife got hers yesterday. So far no side effects. I will get mine when I am able to. So far here 75 percent of the Docs & nurses offered it have taken it.

Wow.

You don't need to look very hard to find medical professional mask recommendations.

Crochet simply does not work.

N95 is best.

Multi layered cotton is "good".

Single layer thick fabric is "OK".

Thin material like bandannas and "gators" is "not worth very much".

Mostly common sense.

First of all, it's not political. The virus has no idea if you lean left or right and if you get it there isn't two section in the hospital or the cemetery, you are lumped together and you can exchange stories in the hospital about your beliefs and the cemetery, well, you get it. Those that say, never, I'm a bad *** and a true patriot, ok, keep telling yourself that. It doesn't matter whether you get the shot or not, you're no better or worse a person. The patriots that have died for my rights, didn't ask each other who they voted for, they died for all of us on both sides of many issues and they where from both sides of many issues, left and right, they lay together, as it should be. So spare me the **** story about badasses don't take the shot, it doesn't matter. My daughter is front line and will be required to get the shot. I may at some point, but, it doesn't make me more a man one way or the other. It's a personal decision that all Americans will have to make.

One things for sure, you cant fix stupid. Those of us with common sense will follow the science, the others...well you can figure out the rest. Time everyone joined the human race and put away all these petty differences. All the DEEP STATE people need to get real.... facts trump fiction in the real world.

Then they should MANDATE the use of medical masks. There should be regularly distributed information concerning what sort of a mask to use. If this virus is as virulent as they say, shouldn't every single one of us be fighting it with the proper equipment? There are millions of people like Alyssa milano out there proudly running around with crochet and similarly constructed masks, completely oblivious to their inability to actually protect themselves from the virus. You will not see the proper type of mask in the endless sea of conformists/sheep out there. If you do see one, that's the exception and not the rule. We are clueless!

The type of mask is not that important....it's not trying to stop you catching it...they just about impossible with amateur equipment. It's only trying to stop the virus carrying droplets you cough/breathe/sneeze out infecting others...and they are relatively huge (perhaps 1 to 3mmm) compared to microscopic virus. ...and so will largely be stopped by anything in front of your nose/mouth. The official figures (here) are that it reduces your chances of catching it by no more than about 15 percent with a good N95 spec mask....but reduces the chance of giving it to those nearby by up to 70 percent.....and pretty much any close knit material will help with that.

Bandanas are good for looting. :D

Lol...it does still make me feel uncomfortable walking up to the counter in the bank with a mask on....and now it's winter I have a woolly hat pulled down to my eyes too. This time last year I would have got about three feet inside the door dressed like before being rugby tackled to the floor by security!

Lets stick to the vaccine every time masks are brought up it gets moved or gone all together. Thanks for all the input. Its a shame tire smoke and fuel fumes cant do away with it.

That’s freakin’ awesome! You said exactly what I was trying to say, only more eloquently then I did.

It’s pretty much well known that while she may be hot, Alyssa Milano is a moron. If you wouldn’t look to her for guidance in any other matter, why would you look to her for mask guidance?

Well put Hey-O.
Over the years we have had vaccine programs and will into the future.
Just like seat belt laws , everyone finally figured out they do save lives.

Make no mistake, I'm not for or against anything. I just don't believe wearing one is a sign of weakness or that I'm a traitor to the vote I cast the other week. Where I live right now you have to wear them, restaurants are closed and the streets are empty of the usual traffic. I just got back from looking at our new house being built, there I stopped in at our regular restaurant and ate dinner. No uniformity from county to county a few miles apart, I have a problem with that. I just wish it would end so life can go back to normal. Just my opinion, from a guy that walks down the middle of the road.

It is true that there’s an extremely small chance that even though you were vaccinated you could pass on the virus to someone else but only if that person didn’t get vaccinated themselves.
Even if you get the vaccine you have a small chance of getting Covid however so far there have been no serious cases with people that got the vaccine. With all vaccines there’s always a small chance of infection but can you imagine what this country would be like if we hadn’t got the polio vaccine or the small pox vaccine? Most people in this country can’t balance a damn checkbook never less make a decision about health issues.
